Mathematics is a discipline where a scholar has to grasp the logic and definite class of a formulas. As soon as these particular sets up are basically laid down, then a scholar only must get a command and exercise of the concept by preparing the general models. As the result of hard work and building upon a sound basis, a better value will be anticipated for sure.
The role of experience in my work
Whenever a student is really having a hard time, I try to find the good "handle" to use to enable the student to perceive the topic. Because of my practice from a long lifework where I kept a mentor duty, even though outside of education, I can surely testify to the seriousness of numeracy, along with of the necessity to establish a child's assurance. I strongly feel the secret to eventually becoming competent at or good in mathematics is in the teacher; it is not the scholar's defect if the teaching is poor and/or doesn't launch the consciousness and allow them to "realise it", enjoy it and become more confident at it.
The teacher-student relationships
I feel that a student will not learn whenever they are not challenged and engaged, and one good prime mover for students is the partnership between the student and the tutor. A sympathetic treatment, and an environment where the relations between child and teacher can grow and ensure open dialogue, so the student is not worried to address fields of weak point and uncertainty, will be served. I work hard to set up a supportive and trusting partnership with each child I explain, in such manner that they too can enjoy the unique thoughts within the environment that science and mathematics deliver me.
I am able to tutor learners in any level of maths. I believe that my amazing strength is to meet the particular child at the level they currently are, and support them further. I strongly believe that nothing is more important for success that the learner's self-esteem. It is my objective - to help students get faith in themselves through mathematics and get through. Few details cheer me even more compared to when a child sees it and their self-confidence grows.
